UNIVERSAL CITY - Jean Burkes Evans, born Nov. 7, 1924, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at the age of 80. She is survived by her daughters, Kay Popham and husband Lonnie, and Judy Waddell and husband Scott; granddaughters, Karena Waddell, Amy Banister, Tracy Yates and Suzanne Gilley; and five great-grandchildren. An out-of-town memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, in Fairmount Cemetery, 1116 W. Ave. N, in San Angelo, Texas. A local memorial service will be on Sunday, Nov. 28, at the home of Tracy Yates, 2531 Smokey Creek, Schertz, Texas.
