This is a page about me.....and my family....

I am a 60'ish (EGAD! How did I get that old?) year old woman. I've been divorced for many years, and have three children and four beautiful grandchildren. My oldest son lives in Brooklyn NY. My other son is a Physical Therapist Assistant in West Texas (he and his wife presented me with my second grandson on August 15, 2000), and my daughter and her two little girls live in Central Texas. These pages are the result of several years research, and many nights in front of the computer, at the library and pouring over information in books, charts and "other"

And all those nights that I sat here at my computer, my little dog, SPARKLE, was at my feet, and sometimes in my lap, patiently (and sometimes not) waiting for me to go to bed. I got Sparkle in January 1988, when she was 5 weeks old, and she grew to be a grand 6 or 7 pounds....a little black and white dustmop. She was my faithful companion for over 11 years, but on Feburary 18, 1999, I had to let her go. For 11 years her main goal in life was to be close to me. We moved several times across the state, and she was always happy in her new home...if I was there. She loved to ride, and I indulged her, taking her with me whenever I could. I miss her....and I dedicate these pages to her.....

So this is the start of my story......

I hope to someday print it all in a book for my decendants. And include as many 'stories' about each one as I can. How can we know who we really are if we do not know about those who went before us? I have been very lucky to have a wonderful, interesting family, although they were neither rich nor famous. Well, most of us are not famous, but there are a few way back in my line that are sorta famous. Like WILLIAM KELSEY..AND JAMES COVEY. Original immigrants to came into New England States about 1629. And if you go back far enough, there is HENRY III, even though my line was born on the wrong side of the blanket! And further back, ther is CHARLEMAGNE....he was born without benefit of Clergy, too. And way, way, way back...there is KING COLIUS....better remembered as 'Ol' King Cole'.

On with the show......as you browse my site, you can use your browsers 'back' button, or, at the end of each page, choose another section..
